Cream&Sugar Cafe

Alyce, the Owner of Cream & Sugar Café, moved to Morocco with her parents when she was 10 years old and returned to the States when she was 21.
“While living in Morocco, I was influenced by their beautiful hospitality and food.  The smell and taste of the various exotic spices, mixed with the French influence in Morocco, introduced me to crepes, and left a strong lasting impression, which I wanted to share with others. Crepes can be sweet or savory, and one of my favorites is the Moroccan spice one, which incorporates turmeric, cumin and coriander. Our crepes, and other food and drinks are made to order, using the freshest ingredients, of the highest quality.”
“I enjoy being part of a community that cares and supports one another, and try to do my share.  We’ve been in Bethel only a short time, and have had the opportunity to participate in The Scotty Fund picnic, the WCHN Pinktober Paint Night with Spark Arts and Star 99.9, and are partnering with Family and Children’s Aid in CT for an upcoming fundraiser. Participating in events such as these allows me to share my love of food and caring, while giving back to the community.”

Cream & Sugar Café is located in P.T. Barnum Square, next to Famous Pizza, in the heart of Bethel, CT. We serve hand scooped ice cream, coffee, crepes, baked goods, candy and more. We even make our own creamy, delicious butter!

Cream & Sugar Café is more than just a place to drink coffee and eat ice cream and crepes. “We exist to provide a warm, clean, supportive (and yummy!) space in Bethel where creativity and community gather.  We are passionate about our customers, artists, vendors and our products, and we want you to feel comfortable and inspired while you’re here.”
